I like to do things more than other folks
I'm not talking about blogging. I'm talking about basketball, golf, WoW arenas until my eyes bleed. I remember as a kid always pretending that I wanted to quit doing things when others did because I knew the didn't want to do it anymore. I guess I just like to get better at doing the things I like and I want to get as good as I can as fast as possible. Weird that I'm not really really good at anything considering this trait... I'll have to think about that more.

I was always this way too with computer games, risk, building forts, skateboarding, d&d, etc... now my interests are becoming so hyper-specialized that no one wants to even start much less get good at them. Maybe I should try broadening my horizons a little.
First, that is B.S. that you're not good at more things. +To go down on you...+ I seriously don't know anyone who kicks ass as many things as you do. It is uncanny, and overall you are an unfair human being. If you quit looking up at the elite and watch me (or the majority of the world) play basketball, roller-blade, etc. for a moment you may realize this...+spit+ :)
Second, my initial thought is that in today's world one has to be uber specialized in order to make any impact (if that is one's desire). I think horizontal thought is needed, as well as limited horizontal activity to supplement this thought, but one must use this thought towards accentuating specialized activity. How many needles can you make in a day Smith?
